TikTok For Business has been named 'B2B Brand of the Year' at the Drum Awards for B2B 2021.

We are proud to announce that TikTok For Business has been named 'B2B Brand of the Year' at the Drum Awards for B2B 2021. Held annually, The Drum Awards is a global awards program which recognizes best practices from the marketing and communications industry. This award recognizes TikTok For Business for its successful relaunch as a global brand and platform, revamped digital and social channels, and other strategic initiatives that have changed the way that both marketers and audiences see advertising.


TikTok For Business was relaunched as a brand in June 2020 with a bold call for marketers, advertisers, and businesses large and small to trade out traditional marketing and unlock their creative side.


The launch campaign introduced audiences to TikTok's new and improved B2B brand, TikTok For Business. The name change, and the campaign behind it, told the why story of our rebrand: Audiences are asking for something different from advertisers, and TikTok For Business is that something different.



The award also recognizes TikTok For Business for its overall efforts to support businesses and help them drive real results. In May 2021, TikTok launched #SpotlightAPI a two-month campaign highlighting API-owned small and medium businesses with high-visibility media placements, education workshops, and community support, and networking opportunities. More recently, TikTok For Business partnered with Ad Age Studio 30 to publish the AdAge + TikTok Holiday Tool Kit a one-stop shop featuring a wide range of information to help small businesses get ready for the holidays on TikTok.


After a year of successful campaigns, TikTok For Business has changed the way that both marketers and audiences see advertising, and the industry has taken notice. TikTok was ranked #1 in AdAge's annual Marketers of the Year and #1 for ad equity globally in Kantar's Media Reactions in both 2020 and 2021.Nielsen's Authenticity Study also found TikTok's branded content to be the most "genuine and entertaining" to social audiences.
