The Objective
Based in Columbia, South Carolina, MetroTap is a small business that produces NFC technology-enabled hardware to connect people and foster connections. The NFC tech lets you share social media, music, payment platforms and contact info by tapping your phone to another compatible smartphone. MetroTap joined TikTok to test the waters on a new platform.
To their excitement, the business quickly learned that the TikTok audience found their humor relatable and understood the product. They explored the different ways to get their content noticed on the platform, which led them to Promote, an in-app lightweight advertising tool that allows brands to turn any organic TikTok video into an ad in a few simple steps.
