Next week marks the 2022 edition of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, where brands and marketers from around the world come together to celebrate creative excellence in advertising.


TikTok is uniquely authentic and collaborative, open to people from all walks of life to join the community and create. This ethos is reflected in our presence at Cannes, where we're extending an open invitation for anyone to come and explore what makes our platform and community so special. Meet us at the TikTok Creator Cabana

The TikTok community is growing and thriving, and creators are the lifeblood. Our creators emerge from cultural niches to become stars, building and reaching a wide range of highly engaged audiences. When brands include creators as part of their storytelling, it builds relationships with the TikTok community and drives measurable results - because our users view creators as authentic experts in their verticals. Our research shows that 69% of people on TikTok have researched a new product after seeing a creator video.¹ Brands who partnered with creators on TikTok saw a +26% bump in brand favorability, and they also saw a +22% bump in brand recommendations.¹ The TikTok Creator Marketplace provides a growing community of creators to suit every brand, product and budget, with creators on the marketplace growing from 50,000 to 500,000 since the end of 2021.


To help brands leverage this opportunity, we're hosting a four-day crash course on everything you need to know about TikTok creators. Adrienne Lahens, Global Head of Operations, TikTok Creator Marketing Solutions will be joined by leading creators @glamzilla and @mrrobertmayhew to explore everything from finding inspiration to teaming up with the right creator to drive success for your brand.


Day 1: Meet the Creators [June 20]

Creators are the hearts, souls, and voices of TikTok, and our cabana series spotlights how they're transforming entertainment and rewriting the playbook for brands to shine. To kick things off, join us for a meet-and-greet and FAQ session with some of our incredibly talented creators, who are seasoned experts when it comes to pulling off successful brand partnerships.


Day 2: Collab with Creators [June 21]

Working with creators has never been a hotter topic in marketing, and we're here to show you just how easy it can be to create partnerships that drive success on TikTok. Join us for this session where we'll dive into creating the perfect brief for your campaign and lead you through a guided demo of the TikTok Creator Marketplace, our online portal for finding the right creator for your brand.


Day 3: Learn from Creators [June 22]

Class is in session, and our creators are leading a masterclass in creating for TikTok. Join us to learn valuable tactics for creative storytelling and building communities on TikTok from the experts of our platform, and stay tuned for a guided demo of various platform features and the Creative Center, our home for inspiration and trend dashboards.


Day 4: Think Like a Creator [June 23]

You've met them, learned from them, and been inspired by them; now it's time to become one of them. To close out our week in the cabana, join us and our creators for a hands-on session where we'll create content from start to finish, covering everything from writing captions to utilizing effects. Plus, go behind-the-scenes and into the creator mindset as they walk you through their creative process in real-time.


How TikTok Has Reimagined Entertainment [June 23]

TikTok is where entertainment and connection intersect, and brands are joining in on the fun by leveraging the power of our platform's word-of-mouth engine to drive business. Join us for a creator-led chat, hosted by TikTok's Sid Mankour, EMEA Lead, Partner Marketing and joined by creators @davidwma and @meicrosoft, on how the culture and behavior of our community is fueling TikTok's vision for the future of entertainment.


Community and Discovery Builds Connection on TikTok [June 24]

On TikTok, creators are rewriting the rules of engagement, bringing their audiences into their worlds' through entertainment and collaboration to build communities around rich and diverse passions. Brands ready to break free from conventional echo chambers and connect to culture can participate with communities and co-create entertainment to drive business impact. In this session, Sofia Hernandez, Global Head of Business Marketing at TikTok, will discuss how brands can co-create with the TikTok community, spark creativity, embrace cultural movements and achieve business impact.


Future Lions 2022 [June 20]

TikTok is the official media partner for Future Lions 2022 and will be taking part in a session with Future Lions winners and Gymshark to walk through harnessing the power of creativity on the platform.
