Bundling branding and web conversion campaigns for Motel Rocks
Born from a love of vintage fashion, Motel is the must-have label for girls who want unique, edgy and eclectic additions to their wardrobe that are guaranteed to make an impact. Motel wanted to move towards a full-funnel strategy on TikTok, whilst ensuring a low CPA. Alongside this, they also aimed to compare CPA’s for gifted creator UGC against the TikTok advertising full funnel approach to seize a competitive advantage.
Previously having only run traffic and conversion campaigns, Motel Rocks wanted to move towards a full-funnel strategy in order to meet their customers on the infinite purchase path route.
Over the last five months, Motel Rocks added branding into their campaign mix to amplify lower funnel results assigned. They ran a reach and Community Interaction campaign alongside traffic and conversion campaigns, whilst applying best practice recommendations including lowest cost bid strategy and custom audiences.
The brand also leveraged creative best practices by using a combination of gifted creators, also managed through recommended agency Social Hit, for both content and product led assets in order to deliver authentic TikTok first ads to run in the For You feed.
Combining both branding and performance ad solutions certainly supercharged Motels performance delivery. Compared to the previous 5 months (July - Nov 21) of running only performance campaigns, Motel Rocks conversion campaigns saw a reduction in complete payment CPA by 77%.
