The brand launched its TikTok Shop in November 2021, and then strategically sought to grow its presence through innovative paid campaigns. Looking to increase conversions whilst ensuring a low CPA, Unicorn Cosmetics tested one of our newest lower funnel solutions built for eCommerce advertisers, Video Shopping Ads (VSA).
Video Shopping Ads (VSA) help advertisers run effective marketing campaigns and drive sales through their TikTok Shop by leveraging short form video creatives and interactive elements such as product cards or product anchor links.
Unicorn Cosmetics seamlessly linked the Video Shopping Ads to their TikTok Shop, allowing users to complete purchases without ever leaving the app.
The brand created multiple creative variations for the Video Shopping Ads. Each video utilised native features such as text overlay, voice overs and direct-to-camera shots, as well as clear messaging, which helped drive relevancy with the targeted user.
Unicorn Cosmetics’ VSA campaigns were a huge success for the brand and its TikTok Shop offers. The use of this ad solution saw the cost-per action drop by 17%, the ROAS increase by 4% and the conversion rate increase by 18%.
