Reaching a prime audience of young trailblazers and increasing awareness that Taco Bell is in the UK
Taco Bell is one of the world’s favourite fast food chains, selling quick, tasty, mexican-inspired food to taco lovers everywhere – and now in the UK too. It’s mission on TikTok was to reach its target audience, masters of mess, who embody its mantra to ‘Live Mas’ (live more) and raise awareness that Taco Bell has landed in the UK.
Taco Bell used TikTok’s Creative Exchange Programme (TTCX) and, in collaboration with partner Uncovered , created a suite of In-Feed Ads to run at auction with a reach & frequency objective. TTCX unlocks fast, scalable creative production for brands, with instant access to some of the best creators on TikTok. All of which can be managed in a simple workflow that encourages best-in-class creative production.
The creator in question was @fktheproducer, who partnered with Taco Bell UK to create a set of imaginative and attention-grabbing skits using Taco Bell products to create SFX. He then pulled these together into several beats that lit up the feeds.
The results out-performed benchmarks by a long way. Showing how engaged the audience were, the ads 2s view-through-rate performed at a whopping 552% higher than benchmark, and the 6s view-through-rate at a staggering 375% vs. benchmark too. And to cap it off, the campaign’s click-through rate shot up to 30% above benchmarks too.
