Boosting product sales ahead of the holiday gifting period with Video Shopping Ads
The Objective
Nordic Nest is the home of Scandinavian interior design, improving homes since 2002. Looking to increase conversions ahead of the holiday period in Norway and Sweden, the brand tested one of our newest lower funnel eCommerce ad solutions, Video Shopping Ads (VSA).
The Solution
Nordic Nest structured its campaign with multiple Video Shopping Ads (VSA), which are shoppaple smart video creatives appearing in users’ For You feed, that maximise lower funnel performance. This ad solution is built to amplify product discovery, purchase intent, and conversion with smarter, intent-based targeting and advanced creative functionalities.
The video creatives showcased different festive products, encouraging shoppers to start their Christmas journey with Nordic Nest. The brand used Dynamic Destination which optimised campaign performance and drove audiences to an in-app Product Landing Page featuring all relevant products.
The Results
For Nordic Nest, the two most important KPIs for this campaign were ROAS and CPA. When the results from the Video Shopping Ads campaign were compared against previous standard conversion campaigns with the same spend, it saw a 25% increase in ROAS and a 61% decrease in cost-per-action.
We got great insights into how we see TikTok as a platform. Historically, we have seen TikTok as an upper funnel-platform where we mainly have focused on traffic campaigns but through VSA we got an amazing increase of conversions and we will continue to think more full-funnel when advertising on TikTok!
