Getting Hunt & Seek to the top of global gaming charts
Kwalee is a hyper-casual gaming developer based in the UK. The brand came to TikTok to globally launch their new game Hunt & Seek, driving app downloads at an efficient CPI, with an ultimate goal of reaching the top charts globally.
Kwalee set up a series of In-Feed Ads on TikTok Ads Manager that would drive downloads of the new game. It used automatic targeting to let the algorithm reach the right audiences while keeping the ads cost efficient.
In terms of creative, Kwalee applied a testing strategy whereby it ran numerous different videos, from memes to live action shots of the game. The winning creatives were then scaled.
In the first 14 days of the campaign being live, over 43,000 Android installs and over 46,000 SKAN installs were generated for Hunt & Seek. To top it off, the game hit the top of the charts in numerous markets including the US, proving the success of TikTok Ads Manager’s automatic targeting and strategic creative testing.
With the help of TikTok Ads Manager’s low CPI’s, we were able to get the initial push and the volume that resulted in the #1 ranking in many countries.
