This year saw the launch of the first The TikTok Awards across European markets, showcasing and celebrating some of the incredible advertising campaigns that have run on the platform in 2022. Following a lengthy judging process by the UK jury, consisting of senior leaders and specialists from across the industry, we're very excited to be able to announce the final UK shortlists competing to be recognised as a TikTok G.O.A.T (that's 'Greatest of All Time'...)


The TikTok Awards UK jury:

Eligible brands and agencies were able to enter one of two categories when the TikTok Award submissions opened on 30 May 2022:


The Greatest Creative celebrates the brands that dare to push the boundaries of creativity on TikTok and embody our golden rules for success on the platform: turn up as your authentic self, forget about crafting the perfect post, and bring joy to everything you do.


The Greatest Performance celebrates the measurable impact of great creative work, highlighting brands who leveraged TikTok to drive top-notch tangible business results. It's awarded to campaigns that unlocked significant reach or influenced consumer behaviour in an innovative way to meet specific marketing objectives.


All shortlisted entries were then eligible for a third category, Greatest TikTok, which celebrates the campaigns that embody entertainment on the platform, fully embracing TikTok's mission to "inspire creativity and bring joy." It's awarded to the campaign that best tapped in to TikTok's communities, culture and creativity, and felt the most inherently TikTok.


The winners will be announced at an exclusive ceremony and celebration on 24 November in London. The winners of Greatest TikTok receive $50,000 in advertising credit, and the other two awards each come with $25,000 in advertising credit. In addition, the Greatest TikTok winners will be invited to join other market winners in Amsterdam at the end of November to compete for the European Grand Prix.
