The Objective

Developed in Korea, Money Keyboard is an interactive mobile app that enables users to earn in-app coins through keyboard integrations, games, and task completion. Upon completing stipulated actions, users get coins that can be exchanged for real-life financial rewards, such as Naver Pay points that can be used to offset product purchases.


With its unique value proposition, Money Keyboard needed to boost brand awareness and drive more app downloads. TikTok’s large user base and creative tools available for businesses stood out, and Money Keyboard was keen to leverage the platform’s solutions to reach their target audience.



The Solution

To bring their content to life, Money Keyboard leveraged Digital Avatar, a new creative tool powered by artificial intelligence, to create engaging visual and audio narrators. Digital Avatars can be added to videos to narrate product demonstrations, explainer videos, gameplays, and more. Complete with physical movements, facial expressions, and voiceovers, these Digital Avatars make videos more engaging and add a human touch. With over 100 different avatars that vary in appearance, accents, and languages, brands can test different scripts and content styles with the various avatars to identify the best-performing combination that can help enhance their content.


After creating their narrated videos with the Digital Avatar, Money Keyboard launched an ad campaign with the App Install Objective. With a Call To Action button attached to the add, users who clicked on it would be directed to their app store page, making app downloads more seamless and quick.



The Result

Through the use of Digital Avatar, Money Keyboard's advertising campaign achieved remarkable results. Compared to another campaign without the use of Digital Avatar, during the same period, the campaign saw a 90% increase in conversions, a 66% rise in Clickthrough Rate (CTR), and a 41.7% reduction in Cost Per Click (CPC). With the campaign running, Money Keyboard also witnessed a significant increase in Daily Active Users (DAU), inspiring the launch of various new campaigns to promote sustained user activity. TikTok, as a video-centric platform, allowed Money Keyboard to acquire a higher number of conversions at a lower cost as compared to other platforms where the cost-per-action (CPA) for video ads is relatively high. The Digital Avatar Tool, one of the newer solutions within TikTok's suite of Creative Tools, has become a game-changer for advertisers looking to elevate brand campaigns.
