This is one way to cut glass. I’m just a DIYer in this area. I have made a couple of aquariums before. I own a warehouse bay and a glass company rented that space for many years and the owner taught me some tips and trick. That’s just cooking oil in that container for a little bit of lubricant. The glass cutter scores the glass and you really don’t need much downward pressure. Those pliers just help get you started to snap the glass apart. I’ve had the glass cutter and those pliers from a local hobby shop for close to 20 years and every now and again, they come in handy. My wife wanted a glass top for the night stand and I had that scrap glass sitting around. A quick sand of the freshly cut edges and it is safe. I like showing need things so hopefully you like this. If you’re like me, I like to learn new things, so hopefully this is new to you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #glasscutting #doityourself #howto
