Date Night in Washington DC 🏛️❤️ During our weekend trip to DC, we decided to do a romantic night at La Bise. La Bise is a 21st century French restaurant located across the street from the White House. This was the only restaurant in a very long time to actually know what was going on when we arrived. We had a reservation and they were on top of it, which I always think goes a long way. Service was phenomenal throughout the evening and they did all the small things which add up to feeling like “white glove” service. We started with the chicken liver cornets, If you like liver, then you’ll love these. They also brought out bread service with a lavender infused butter that I couldn’t get enough of. For dinner I tried the steak frites (I’d recommend the filet mignon) and it came with a side of potatoes that tasted enchanting like a French fry and a tater tot all at once. For dessert, we got the chocolate soufflé and were blown away, I’d come back just to order that again. We also tried the Swiss roll cake and I thought that was great too. Overall, this place had the service, the location and the food to provide a stellar date night. Afterwards we walked to the White House for some pictures across the street and then over to the Washington monument. We even made our way down to the Lincoln memorial through the reflecting pool (which was drained for cleaning) #washingtondc #datenight #labise #washingtondcfood #frenchfood
