The Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) has confirmed that TikTok has achieved TAG Certified Against Fraud status for 2022. This certification means that TikTok has set industry best practices to help ensure ads are served in a fraud-free safe environment to real humans.

Digital Ad Fraud remains a critical challenge for the digital ad ecosystem to tackle. Recognizing that individual companies or agencies cannot combat fraud alone, TAG works with the entire industry to tackle AdFraud.

With hundreds of companies in the digital advertising supply chain adopting TAG's high standards, the industry has been able to reduce non-human invalid traffic (IVT) in TAG Certified Channels to under 1%, a powerful testament to the effectiveness of the program.

"As the digital advertising industry continues to evolve, it's vital the industry works together to combat invalid traffic across the digital advertising supply chain," said Mike Zaneis, TAG CEO. "We're delighted to have members like TikTok help advance our mission of eliminating fraudulent traffic, and we look forward to continuing to work with them to continue to raise the industry's standards and address new and emerging threats."

TikTok is committed to continue its work with TAG and other industry partners to help raise the bar on industry standards across Brand Safety, AdFraud and Security. This latest certification demonstrates TikTok's ongoing dedication to building a safe, transparent and trustworthy platform for both users and brands.
