Our community started celebrating Earth Day 22 days early with Earth Month, a global campaign to raise awareness about the climate crisis and promote sustainable ways of living.
Eager nonprofits, climate activists and Earth lovers alike used trending hashtags to amplify a variety of conservation efforts.
To date,* #Sustainability, #Ecofriendly, #EarthDay, and #NatureDocumentary have a combined viewership of over 17 billion video views.
They created content to cover the basics – what is sustainability, what causes climate change, what is being done about it – and hosted LIVEs to share impactful eco-hacks for daily life. They also went in-depth on a wide variety of eco-initiatives.
From wildlife protection and waste cleanup to newer topics like sustainable farming and modern homesteading, environmentalists from all different categories shared accessible and inspiring videos to encourage people around the world to join the movement.
