Aquaventure water park - @Atlantis Dubai is incredible, worth every penny! Here are some top tips for your visit: • arrive early (9:15 if you can!) they let you in soon after and its very quiet until 11am, you’ll manage to miss the long queues and conquere most rides before its busy. • they hand out free water socks, (these are a must as the floor is BOILING) - if you’re visiting during the hottest months we would recommend taking sliders/crocs to wear as you walk to and from the slides (you can leave them in shoe storage at each ride or hold them tightly down the slides) we only had the water socks and the soles melted/wore away quickly! We regretted not bringing our crocs to wear on top of the socks. • bring your own / buy a waterproof case on a lanyard at the park (perfect for videos and photos!) • bottled water is expensive! Take an insulated bottle to keep it cool through the day • the aquaxpress pass is SO worth it! We didn’t queue longer than 5 minutes and rode each ride atleast twice! It also meant we weren’t queuing for long in the 40+ degree heat! • they provide frequent buggy services that you can hop on and hop off of to get around the park (these saved our feet from burning!) • we only purchased a small locker, however it was very spacious and could fit a large (and very full) beach bag in! • it would be beneficial wearing a waterproof tshirt, I burnt quickly and having one would have stopped this! • Do EVERY SINGLE ride, they are incredible. I was scared of a few of the high thrill ‘body rides’ but am so pleased I did them! • if transporting back to your hotel via TAXI leave an hour before park closure to skip the long queues (we learnt this from our trip to Siam Park in Tenerife!) • the cheapest TAXIS are cream with coloured roofs. Approximately £12 for a 25-30 min journey. (You won’t need to book a taxi back from the waterpark, but for any Taxi needs around Dubai dowload the app Careem, where you can find and book taxis quickly and cost effectively! #aquaventurewaterpark #dubai🇦🇪 #dubai #thepalm #atlantis #waterpark #toptips
