You must make this DIY Wendy’s frosty🥤 It’s amazing. It does have a strong-ish coconut flavor to it, so if you’re not a fan of coconut flavored things, sub out the canned coconut milk for a full fat regular milk 🥛 full recipe and diary free substitutions below 👇🏼 Makes 2-3 frosties 2 cans full fat canned coconut milk 1/2 cup water 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup heavy cream, milk or more coconut milk 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste Add the coconut milk, water, cocoa powder and sugar into a medium sauce pan and heat until it juuust starts to simmer. You don’t want it to boil or come to a full simmer. Whisk until smooth and the sugar has dissolved. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze over night. To make the frosty, add frozen choc milk cubes to a high speed blender along with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and heavy cream. Blend until smooth. ** You can easily make this dairy free by using a coconut based sweetened condensed milk (they sell some at Whole Foods) and subbing the heavy cream for homemade cashew cream or the Silk brand heavy cream. #wendys #dupe #frosty #wendysfrosty #recipe #summerrecipes #homemade #chef #cooking
