Just a few tips if you’re new to trail running… 🌲🏃🏼♀️⛰️ 1. Invest is some trail shoes!! You want to have good traction and support when you tackle those rocky/hilly areas of the trails. 🥾 2. Ditch hand-held water bottles and grab yourself a hydration pack!! You’ll definitely be thirsty and the convenience & storage of these things is unmatched. 💦🙌🏼 3. Set a STEADY pace! The saying “slow and steady wins the race” is verrry true when it comes to train running. Rolling hills and difficult terrain will tire you out quicker than you think! 🥵 Our @ragnarrelay trail race in New Jersey starts at 8 am on FRIDAY!! 3/8 of our team members are completely new to trail running, so it’ll be a fun adventure!
