heritage wing of the okura tokyo, which features a modern take on traditional japanese design. // fun fact, this company has been around since the meiji era of japan (1800s), which is absolutely insane to me😭 og japanese hospitality right here - room is 63m^2 / 678sqft. i love how all the hotels in japan that ive stayed at have a walk in closet and provide pajamas for 😴. was here for 4 nights, showers were amazin, the bedding was okay, breakfast buffet was okay. would stay again; its a well-priced hotel for what you get🙂 - the coolest feature of this room is probably the temperature controlled mist sauna (steam room) in the bathroom. - “it is our honour and greatest pleasure to serve you as our valuable guest” ^ the welcome letters that the general manager writes at japanese-managed hotels vs the ones you get from westernised-hotels (i.e. the four seasons) is quite drastic 😂. - ryokan hotel tokyo hotels the okura - #tiktoksg #sgtravel #tokyohotel #luxurytravel #wheretostayintokyo #luxuryhotels #theokuratokyo #ryokan #japantravel #tokyoguide
