MARZANO PIZZA SAUCE🍅🍕 You’ll never go back to sauce from the store after you try this. So delicious and WELL worth making it! Like I said, I’ve used it on hundreds of pizzas and swear by it. Recipe below! • INGREDIENTS: 1 28oz can of Cento San Marzano tomatoes 2 Tbsp olive oil 1/2 yellow onion 1-3 cloves of garlic 1 tsp of basil 1/2 tsp of oregano 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar Pinch of crushed red pepper IINSTRUCTIONS: -Pour the tomatoes into a large bowl and using your hands, kitchen shears, or an immersion blender, break the tomatoes down so that they’re chunky but not completely liquid. -In a medium saucepan or griddle on medium-low heat, heat the olive oil, grated onions, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Allow them to cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently so nothing sticks or burns. -Add in aromatics to the crushed tomatoes, salt, and sugar, and give it a stir. This will last in your fridge up to two weeks! OPTIONAL: For a deeper, less acidic flavor, simmer in a pot on medium-low heat for 20 minutes! • If you’re a pizza lover, save this for your next pizza night! You’ll get compliments on the sauce🔥 • #pizza #pizzalovers #pizzatime #pizzapizzapizza #recipe #delicious #foodie #food #pizzatime
