I’m back on a sushi kick! #sushirice #sushi #rice #cookingbasics #pokebowl Recipe Ingredients 1 cup Nishiki Rice (sushi rice, one I used) 1 cup water 2 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar 1. Rinse rice till it comes clear, removes excess starch so it’s sticky & perfect. Takes 4-5 times. Do till no longer murky. 2. Add water and rice to pot, bring to boil. Cover & turn heat to low. Let cook for 20 minutes. 3. When timer up remove from heat leave on lid for 10 min. 4. Mix in vinegar and take out of heating vessel. 5. If using right away cool down to use in sushi, if refrigerated can bring back to life with ice cube, paper towel & microwave to warm up.
