Cake: 1/2 cup room temperature butter 1 cup sugar 2 eggs (separated) 1/3 cup sour cream 1/4 cup pineapple juice 2 tbsp milk 1-1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp cream of tar tar for beating egg whites (optional) Beats together butter and sugar. Add the rest of the wet ingredients and the egg yolks. Poor in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks and fold into the batter.
