HOMEMADE PICKLE PIZZA 🥒🍕 With the state fair around the corner, I wanted to remake one of your most loved recipes from last year with a little bit of a twist - homemade pickles!!! If you are a pickle lover like myself but you have never made them at home, you will be thrilled to see how easy it is to make them at home :) INGREDIENTS: Homemade Pickles: - 6 Bushel Boy mini cucumbers, cut into 1/4 inch slices - 1 cup white vinegar - 2 tsp sugar - 1 tsp salt - 4-5 garlic cloves - 2 tbsp fresh dill Pizza: - Pizza crust of choice (I use the pre-made dough from @traderjoes) - 1/4 cup ranch dressing - 1 tbsp pickle juice - 2 minced garlic cloves OR 1/2 tbsp garlic powder - 1 tsp dill - 1/2 cup pickle coins - 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese DIRECTIONS: To make the pickles: 1. Add white vinegar, salt and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Once the salt and sugar has completely dissolved, remove from heat 2. Add Bushel Boy cucumbers, garlic and fresh dill to a large mason jar. Pour the warm vinegar mixture over top & seal immediately. 3. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours and ENJOY! To make the pizza: 1. Prepare pizza dough/crust according to packaging 2. In a small bowl, whisk together ranch, pickle juice, garlic and dill until well combined. Spread evenly on top of the pizza dough 3. Add mozzarella cheese evenly across the top of the pizza, followed by the pickle coins 4. Bake according the pizza dough packaging, top with some extra dill and red pepper flakes if you prefer & ENJOY! ✨
