A lot of people say this Macau-style Portuguese Egg Tart is perhaps the best of its kind in NYC! In truth – I’ve heard a lot of about Xin Fa and Lily Bloom Bakery’s Macau-style Portuguese Egg Tart (Po Tat) for a while now. For $1.75 – each egg tart is pretty massive, filled with custard, and nicely brûléed. Xin Fa Bakery (📍5617 8th Ave, Brooklyn, NY) is a popular Chinese bakery in Brooklyn’s Chinatown. Upon arrival, it was packed and bustling. People were clamoring over their assorted pastries and breads. Xin Fa Bakery has opened multiple newer bakery locations – all of which are called Lily Bloom. The egg tarts came out fresh and I was honestly surprised at how big it is. For those that love a generous portion of egg custard – this spot is for you! Have you been here? 👀 And, if so – what other pastries should I order next time? 🎥: @NYC Got Games #eggtart #potat #dontat #eggtarts #portugeseeggtart #asiandessert #asiandesserts #nycfood #nycdessert #chinatown #nycchinatown #chinatownnyc #brooklynchinatown #brooklynfood #foodvlog #chinatownfood #chinesebakery #nycbakery #chinesefood #asianfoodie #cantonesefood #nyceats #newyorkcityfood #lilybloombakery #xinfabakery
