Most trains in Chicago are elevated. Only two lines runs underground which are the Blue and Red line . This is the Northside of Chicago by Wrigley feild where the Cubs play. The lines that runs through here are the Purple and Red line. The reason why they call Chicago train system the "L" because most trains are elevated throughout the city .
