The time of year: - Early Spring is our recommendation with moderate temperatures, the maximum greenery and waterfalls, and fewer people. - Late Autumn is great for the same reasons, but instead of greenery you’ll get some golden leaves - Summer is beautiful and you’ll be guaranteed to have Glacier point road open, but it’s also the most crowded - Winter is a snow-covered wonderland with the least amount of people, but is also cold and has less predictable weather. 2 . Location: If you have less than 11 guests you can get married anywhere in the entire park! (Except meadows and riverbanks) If you’re having more guests no worries, there are 12 spots within the park where you can hold your ceremony itself, but you’re free to explore anywhere in the park the rest of your time! Here are a few of the best ceremony locations for guests: - Taft Point - El Cap Meadow - Glacier Point - Cathedral Beach - Yosemite Falls - Bridalveil Falls 3. Timeline Planning your timeline well is always important for an elopement wedding, but especially so here because Yosemite is one of the most popular national parks in the USA! Also, the entire park is connected by a 1-way loop road. So you need to be strategic about your different locations and food and bathroom breaks. We recommend working with experienced photographers who will help you build a custom timeline for your day, like us, so that you can remain unstressed and enjoy your Yosemite elopement wedding. We help plan, recommend locations, research permits, and photograph adventure weddings and elopements!
