1000 days ago on March 13th 2020, a worldwide virus broke out. It was a Friday, the last day before Spring Break in America, or for other countries, the last day before the weekend. For some adults too, of course - getting off work, or even starting work; or so we thought. 2 weeks went by and an email was sent out about a virus. We quarantined, one day after the next. We missed our friends, family, and others. We were tired. Online school became a thing, and we were stressed. We all wanted to go back to school; even those who hated school most wanted to go to school. It was terrifying for all of us as people died one day after the next. One after the other, thousands of new cases were reported everyday. We wore masks, we got scared of getting sick, and shortages of products started happening. We were practically living in a nightmare. Some cared, and some didn’t. Some chose to wear a mask, and some didn’t. COVID got worse, and it was our fault and only ours. However, finally, things started to cool down. The Coronavirus has changed us dramatically, even if you don’t realize it. Those were the longest “2 weeks” of our lives, and I certainly wouldn’t want to live through it again. March 13th will forever and always be an important date in history. The day where a virus broke out, the day where everyone panicked, the day where humanity fell to its worst. March 13th is the day we mourn for all 6,646,094 people who died worldwide from COVID 19. The Coronavirus has impacted us all: the way parents teach their children, the way we speak, how careful we are around one another, etc. All we wanted was a break. It turns out “Spring Break” wasn’t really the break we expected. COVID has caused the many problems we had and ones we have today. It’s crazy how many people could have been with us today if COVID didn’t start. Many people have lost their families and friends due to COVID. Oh God, I pray for those who lost loved ones from COVID. Constantly watching the news, constantly waiting for an update on a vaccine. Nobody will forget this day. People who don’t care are foolish idiots - this day has affected us all more then ever. May God protect us all. #covid19 #coronavirus
