You don’t need 100s of acres to have a successful homestead! You can do a lot on a small scale. 📸 creator: @reformedacres (via Instagram) “You DO NOT need lots of land to start homesteading. You can start right where you are. We have 2 acres of land, and for some people that's a lot. But in the homesteading and farming space, we are working with a pretty small space. I will say, that we have not even come close to tapping out our land! We still have room for more trees, dairy animals, bees, an expanded garden, and probably even more. And all of this while still having a sizeable backyard us to enjoy with the children. I don't say any of this to brag, but to remind you that you can do SO MUCH without having a large property if you're willing to give it a try & to be intentional with what you do. It's all about space management, rotating animals, and being very thoughtful about the placement of things in your outdoor space. But it can be done, and you can do SOMETHING right where you are!” . . .
