This HONEY - LIME chicken is the perfect weeknight dinner to add to your rotation🍋‍🟩🍯 Ingredients: 1 chicken breast thinly sliced Seasoned with: Paprika Chili powder Salt & pepper 1 lime juiced 2 tbsp honey For the Cucumber & Avocado Salad: 1/2 cucumber quartered 1 avocado cubed 1/2 red onion sliced 1 tosp honey Salt & pepper to taste 1 lime juiced Minced cilantro For the sides I made white rice and added 1/2 cup to my plate and approximately 1 cup of shredded lettuce. This dinner was SO good I can't wait for you to give it a try 🙌🏼 Notes: slice chicken breast. Season the chicken. On a medium pan on (medium heat) add 1/2 tbsp avocado oil then add chicken once the pan is very hot. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until no longer pink. Turn heat down then add lime juice and honey. Allow for it to simmer for another 3-4 min or until sauce turns thick in texture. For the salad cut the veggies add all into a bowl and mix well. Healthy crispy chicken tenders & fries!🍗🍟 I think that one of the biggest keys to healthy eating is to make healthier versions of the foods that you LOVE so that you can eat them whenever you want! These air fried crispy chicken tenders and sweet potato fries really hit the spot - they are sooo delicious and easy to make! 🙌 I made this for 2 people but you can adjust the amount of sweet potatoes and chicken you make! 🍟 Sweet potato fries: - 4 sweet potatoes - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1/2 tsp each: paprika, garlic powder, salt, baking powder - 1/4 tsp pepper Preheat oven to 425. Slice the potaotes into long fry shapes. Add them to a big bowl and toss with olive oil and all the spices. Spread into a lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 mins, tossing a few times while cooking. 🍗 Chicken tenders: - 5 chicken tenders (or slice chicken breast into long strips) - Salt & pepper - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - 1/2 tsp paprika - Olive oil spray (OR 1 beaten egg - I ran out!) Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper. Add the breadcrumbs to a shallow bowl with garlic powder, paprika, and a little salt and pepper and mix to combine. Lightly spray both sides of the chicken with olive oil OR dip in beaten egg, then coat both sides in breadcrumbs. Add to air fryer basket in a single layer and spray tops with oil. Air fry at 400F for 12 mins flipping halfway. Welcome to my new series: 20 Minute High Protein Trader Joe’s Dinners! And substitutions listed so you can make them with ingredients from any grocery store. Episode 1: Better Than Takeout Beef & Broccoli 🥡🥦 Just one pan, a simple and delicious sauce, and tons of protein & veggies! What more do you need?! Feel free to use any type of steak or even chicken or tofu, just cut it into bite sized pieces first. Enjoy! Ingredients: 8 oz broccoli florets 1 tbsp avocado oil 1 lb shaved beef or steak cut into bite sized pieces Salt & pepper 1 tbsp sesame oil Sesame seeds to serve (optional) Rice to serve Sauce: 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup water 1 tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 tbsp honey 1 tsp chili onion crunch or sriracha 1 tbsp tapioca flour or corn starch OR 2 tbsp all purpose flour Instructions: First make the sauce by whisking together all ingredients until the flour has fully dissolved. Heat avocado oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli and add 2 tablespoons water. Sauté for about 5 minutes then set aside. Rinse the pan and then add the sesame oil over medium high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add the beef and brown on each side for about 2 minutes (add 2 more minutes each side if using chicken). Turn heat to medium then add the sauce. Simmer until beef is cooked through then stir in the broccoli. Serve over rice with sesame seeds to top. CREAMY CHICKEN 🤤 A delicious, healthy high protein meal for you to try. Save for later ☝🏼 •481 kcals •39g PRO, 63g CHO, 15g FAT Serves 2 -200g of uncooked chicken breast -500g of potato -2 tsp of garlic salt -Broccoli/broccolini -1 red onion -2 cloves of garlic -50ml of double cream -1 reduced salt chicken stock cube mixed with 300ml of boiling water (use more water if needed) -1 heaped tsp of Dijon mustard -Fresh parsley, chopped -Salt/pepper Method: 1. Wash the potatoes and slice into wedges (I like to leave the skin on). Par boil for 5 minutes. Season with garlic salt and pepper. Air fry for 25-30 mins until soft. 2. Boil the broccoli until soft. 3. Beat down the chicken before frying. Season with paprika, salt and pepper. 4. Spray a pan with oil and add the chicken breasts. Cook on either side for 5-10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. 5. One the same pan, add a drop of water. Then add the garlic and red onion. Stir and let simmer for 2 minutes. 6. Pour in the chicken stock and double cream. Mix in the Dijon mustard. Add the chopped parsley. Let it simmer again before adding back in the cooked chicken. 7. Coat each side of the chicken in the sauce. 8.
