maui, hi is one of my favorite places to visit 🌺 here are a few things you need to do on your next trip 🫶🏼 1. hike Waihe’e Ride Trail - this hike takes about 3 hours to complete and is a 4mi out and back journey. it is moderately challenging but the views are worth it 🥾 2. swim at ‘Īao Valley - there is a large stream that runs through the National Monument where locals use rocks to create small pools, making it the perfect place to cool off 👙 3. sunset at Haleakalā - driving to the summit of the volcano isn’t for the faint of heart, but it makes for the best sunrise/sunset view on the island (you are literally above the clouds ☁️ 4. drive the road to Hāna - a very popular tourist activity, but still my favorite day on the island. you can grab delicious food, take a short hike, see towering waterfalls and even cliff jump all on this windy road 🚙 5. visit Ho’okipa Beach Park - otherwise known as Turtle Beach, i’m sure you can see why!! lots of turtles hang out here so be sure to give them some space while you take pictures or jump in for a swim 🐢 6. hike the Pīpīwai Trail - this trail is located on the road to Hāna and takes you through a bamboo forest to the tallest waterfall on the Hāna Highway at 400ft, Waimoku Falls 🌊 7. walk the Shops of Wailea - the shops are an outdoor shopping experience with local and luxury options, and the town of Wailea itself has a boardwalk alone the beach shoreline making for a perfect afternoon shop & stroll 🛍️ 8. beach sunset - you make any beach and i am sure you can catch a beautiful sunset on it. maui never disappoints when it comes to sunsets, so make sure you take time to stop and admire a few of them 🌞 #maui #hawaii #mauihawaii #thingstodo #haleakala #waterfall #hike #views #beach #sunset #shop
