episode 17 of ‘make it heart healthy’ is a homemade chewy granola bar with dark chocolate. hope you enjoy ❤️ recipe (makes 9 servings) 1. add 1.5 cups steel cut oats to a large mixing bowl along with 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1/4 cup chopped pecans, 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, 2 tbsps chia seeds, and 2 tbsps hemp seeds 2. next add 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter 3. stir ingredients to combine, and add to a 9x9” casserole dish and pat down ingredients to flatten 4. drizzle 1 tsp creamy peanut butter on top of oats and seed mixture 5. microwave 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips and drizzle 1 tsp dark chocolate over the oats and seed mixture 6. place into the fridge for 20 minutes until peanut butter and dark chocolate hardens 7. cut into 9 bars and enjoy! nutrition per serving (per bar): 286 calories, 9g protein, 24g carbohydrates, 16g fat, 2g sat fat, 5g fiber, 40mg sodium. #miga #hearthealthy #granolabarrecipe #proteinbar #dessert #healthyrecipes
