WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE VISITING THE GRAND CANYON: •There are multiple spots (hours apart) to see it. Grand Canyon West (this one) is only a 2hr and 15 min drive from Vegas •It’s pricey💰 $55 just to enter, another $16 to walk on the Skywalk, $7 hot dogs, $4 water.. •The Skywalk- it’s cool, but the glass isn’t very clear so it’s not as impressive as it looks. You can’t have any personal belongings- they literally have metal detectors to make sure you don’t bring your cell phone. Instead, they have their own photographers stationed to charge $25/picture •Be prepared to have NO phone service. Our GPS quit for the first 20-ish min of our drive back.
