Visiting Florence 🇮🇹 soon? | Avoid these mistakes on your first trip: What else would you like to know? Drop your questions below 👇🏼 1️⃣ Not pre-booking your tickets for museums such as the Uffizi and Accademia Gallery. If you’re coming during high season (May-September) or for a short time, you need to buy your tickets in advance if you don’t want to be standing in line for hours or wind up disappointed. Also, the first Sunday of each month between October and March entry is FREE (but no option to pre-book). You should also consider a guided tour through an app like Viator if you want the history behind what you’re seeing. The Firenze Card is also a good option if you plan on visiting many things. 2️⃣ Standing in line at All’Antico Vinaio. I know it’s very popular but personally, I think it’s a waste of time to stand in line when you can find equally delicious paninis elsewhere. I recommend Pinos, Panificio Brunori and I Fratellini. 3️⃣ Don’t forget to validate your tickets before getting on trains if you’re coming to or leaving Florence by train. There are little machines on the platforms where you need to place your tickets to get them stamped. If you get on the trains without validating and you get stopped you can get fined - and it’s definitely not a nice way to start or end a vacation. What else would you add?
