Also for those whose cats passed from fip- try not to feel guilty. This treatment has only been public for around 5 years. I see a lot of information about the cost of FIP treatment online— some of it is pretty accurate, some of it really misses the mark. One of the first news articles you find for example says 8-10k… The majority of cats will only cost a fraction of that nowadays. I have purposely not included a brand as that will cause some variation, and oral medication is completely different— I usually say it’s 50% more expensive.
