Fermented Soy Beans

This is one of my most requested videos to date- Nattō. It’s a Japanese snack made out of fermented soybeans! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my love for spicy soy bean paste, so saying that I was excited to try this is an understatement! I was told that you have to push the plastic through with a chopstick to get the real experience! The pack I got came with spicy mustard and a sweet soy sauce! You are in the sauces and then mix it together with the soy beans. The soybeans are super soft and all of the flavors are together to me were really enjoyable! I had mine with nori and it was a really tasty snack. The texture does get a little bit gooey when you mix it all together but it is still very enjoyable if you like soybeans 😍 #natto #japanesesnacks

first time trying natto!! 🫘🫘 I’ve always seen @Sa Nguyen eating natto and wanted to finally give it a try. For those of you that don’t know, natto is a Japanese fermented soybean. It’s suppose to contain a ton of nutrients and vitamins that supposedly reduces your cholesterol. So basically — it’s suppose to be heathy 🤣 Keep an eye out for PT 2 where I make my housemate try it. Fermented Soybeans. របៀបធ្វេីសៀង - Ingredients: . 3 cups soy beans wash and soak overnight. . Cook in crockpot on high setting for 6 hrs. - Ferment Brine Ingredients: . 15 cloves garlic( chopped) . 1 tbsp whole black peppercorns. 👉 Stovetop: Add 3 tbsp cooking oil. Add garlic and peppercorns stir until fragrant. 👉 Add: . 2 cups brown sugar. . 1 cup sea salt. . 1 cup fish sauce. . 3 cups water. Bring to a boil turn off the stove. 👉 put beans in a jars add the brine let it cool down completely before put a lids on . 👉 Store in kitchen pantry the longer the better it will be ready in six weeks. #fyp #asianfood #fermentedsoybeans #homemaderecipe #khmermom
