They are sure to become a staple in your house! Ingredients: (quantities are easily modifiable to serve however many are in your fam 🫶🏻) 1.5 lbs of chicken thighs, boneless and skinless salt and pepper to season about 1/2 cup of bone broth (start with 1/4 cup and add more as needed) Directions: Heat a skillet over medium high heat While the skillet heats up, season your chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper Add your chicken thighs to the dry skillet, making sure they are not crowded, and cook, undisturbed, for 10-12 minutes or until they appear almost cooked through. Its important not to move them around while cooking because you want a nice crust to form. Flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes Turn the temperature to medium low and add your chicken broth, scraping up the chicken bits as the broth deglazes the pan Allow the sauce to reduce until there is only a thin glaze over the bottom of the pan, tossing the chicken in the sauce as you go Serve and ENJOY! This will be one of the easiest, best chicken thighs you’ll ever make. The skin is crispy, the sauce is amazing, and its so good. . There are a couple key things here: First, I love using bone-in skin-on chicken thighs, since the chicken will come out SO good and juicy. You can always remove the skin if you like after its cooked. Next, if you do enjoy a crispy skin, the baking powder here will help the chicken come out nice and crispy. . This is how I made it (feel free to multiply for more) . 1. Preheat oven to 425F. . 2.Grab 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs, dab them dry with a paper towel and add them to an oven-safe dish. Dont over crowd so they have space. I like these in the pan since the chicken releases a lot of delicious juice, but you can also put them on a rack to get them crispier. Whatever you decide, let chicken come up to room temp about 30mins before you start seasoning it. . 3.To season chicken, drizzle it with 1 tbsp avocado or olive oil, 1 tbsp dijon or German mustard, the juice of 1 lemon, a couple pinches salt, 2 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp dried dill, 1 tbsp sweet paprika, and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. I also add 1/2tbsp baking powder to make skin crispy. Mix well. . 4.Put chicken in for an initial 35min visit at 425F. At 35mins remove the chicken, spoon over the juices at the bottom of the dish, and put it back in for another 5 minutes. . 5.Make the sauce by processing 4 tbsp plain thick greek yogurt (or sour cream), 3 tablespoons mayo, the juice of 1 large lemon, a handful fresh dill, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp Aleppo or any chili pepper, and a pinch of salt. Process well. Give it a taste, and adjust with anything more you want. I usually add more lemon juice to make it more citrusy or add a tablespoon of water to make the sauce last longer, but your call. This makes several servings. . 6.Remove the chicken from the oven, plate it up however way you want (with salad, rice, quinoa, or if you’re lowcarb, my high protein lowcarb Kaizen rice would go great here!). 💥CRISPY, JUICY OVEN BAKED THIGHS . This is the secret to the crispiest, juiciest oven baked chicken thighs. It comes out ridiculously good. . There are 4 small, but key things that are important to getting things crispy and juicy: . 1.You’ll want to pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel before seasoning them. . 2.You’ll want to add baking powder to your seasoning mix. . 3.You’ll want the chicken to be up to room temp before putting in the oven. . 4.You’ll want to put the chicken on an oven rack when baking.. . Sound good? . Here is how I made it: . 1.Grab 1.5lb (4 or 5 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs) and add them to a bowl. Pat them down well to dry with a paper towel. . 2.Drizzle chicken with 1 tbsp olive oil, season with a couple pinches of salt and pepper, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, 1/2 tbsp onion powder, 1/2 tbsp thyme, 1 tsp chipotle powder, 1 tsp chili flakes, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper and 1 tbsp baking powder. Mix it really well, then let it sit for at least 30 minutes, but ideally 45 minutes before proceeding. . 3.Preheat oven to 430F. Place chicken on an oven rack. This is important to allow it to get crispy. Then place in the oven for 38-40 mins. . 4.Remove from the oven, top with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sauce, your favorite side, or salad. Some rice, quinoa, or if you’re keeping it low carb, my @Kaizen Food Company kaizen lowcarb rice would be great. . You can easily remove the skin and bone, but cooking with those really helps add flavor and keep things juicy. . CHICKEN THAT DOESNT SUCK. This is one of the best 1 pan chicken recipes you’ll make. The secret is the marinate that will elevate the chicken and the quick garlicky herb sauce is unbelievably good! I’m using bone-in skin-on chicken thighs to make the chicken more flavorful and juicy, but you can remove the skin if you prefer, too. I paired this with a simple salad, but it would be complete with some regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re doing lowcarb/keto, some of my lowcarb @kaizenfoodco rice. . This is how I made it (feel free to multiply for more) . 1.Grab 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs, dab them dry with a paper towel and add them to a bowl. . 2.For the marinade, grab a medium mixing bowl. Add 2 tbsp drizzle of olive oil, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 4 minced garlic cloves, the zest and juice of 1 large lemon, a couple generous pinches salt, pepper, 1 tbsp smoked paprika, 1 tbsp oregano or thyme, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix it really well. . 3.Add the marinade to the chicken, and mix really well covering all sides. Let this ideally sit for 2 to 6 or ideally, overnight. . 4.Preheat oven to 410F. Remove chicken from fridge and let it come up to room temp before putting in the oven. . 5.Place chicken on a wire rack and put it in the oven at 410F for 35-40 mins. . 6.While thats going, make your sauce. I processed together 3 tablespoons of thick greek yogurt (or labneh), a handful of fresh mint (about 3 tablespoons), 2 scallions (green and white part), 1/2 large jalapeño, 1 tbsp olive oil, the juice of half a lemon, and a couple generous pinches of salt + pepper. Process well, taste, and adjust to your preference. . 7.Remove the chicken from the oven, plate it. Again, you can serve this with whatever base you like (it would be delicious with regular rice, quinoa, or if you’re lowcarb/keto my high protein kaizen rice), some salad of choice, and this sauce. . 🍯Bubble Chicken Ingredients: 4-5 boneless skinless chicken thighs 1 & 1/2 tbsp chicken seasoning 1 tsp garlic powder & onion powder 1/2 tsp cayenne 1 shake of red pepper flakes 1 tsp cracked black pepper 1 packet of Sazon 1/2 cup of honey 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce 5-6 garlic cloves, chopped 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp butter 3 stalks of green onions, divided Directions: Pat the chicken dry and season with onion powder, garlic powder, chicken seasoning, cracked black pepper, cayenne, and Sazon. Massage the seasoning into both sides of chicken and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes. Add vegetable oil to a pan and brown the chicken for about 5 minutes per side. Pop the in pan in oven at 400°F and bake for 5-7 minutes or until cooked through. Once chicken is done remove it from the pan and set chicken aside on a plate. Remove some oil from the pan leaving about 1-2 tsp and add the butter to the pan. Then add the whites of the green onion, chopped garlic, red pepper flakes, cracked black pepper, and sauté for about 1-2 minutes on medium to high heat. Add in the soy sauce and the honey. Let it bubble, thicken, and reduce for 3-5 minutes at medium heat. stir continuously. Then add the chicken into the sauce Serve over white rice and garnish with the green of the green onions.
