The iconic Trixie Motel resides in Palm Springs, California in the equally iconic Old Las Palmas neighborhood, walking distance from all of the city's main attractions. The motel needed a bit of a facelift when established in 2020, and so Trixie and her bf pitched The Scott Brothers, or as they are popularly known, The Property Brothers, the kings of renovation TV, on a first of its kind renovation series highlighting the complete renovation of TRIXIE MOTEL. Two years later and Trixie Motel's doors opened.

Price: $4.5 million
Location: Potomac, MD
Built: 1987
Status: Sold but plans to sell very soon
Down in the basement, you’ll see the faux main street of a small town, complete with store facades, a post office, movie theater, and cobblestone streets. The old-timey theme is reinforced by the owner’s antique cars. A few of the stores includde are a flower shop, a sports store, and even a gas station.
Why would someone build a fake antique town in their basement? Turns out the answer isn’t particularly exotic. The home’s owners—Tom and Alice Blair—simply wanted a space for fun with family and friends.
The upper level has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and over 12,000 square feet of living space. The mansion sits on a gated, 4-acre lot, and the property also has a tennis court, heated pool, and guesthouse with private entrance.
