Opera GX testing done. Here’s my thoughts on this web browser. It’s fast and has a couple of good features like GX Control, the sidebar and the GX Corner. The ad-blocker and tracker blocker isn’t very strong, and the “gamer-y” UI is just not for me. Browser marketed for gamers aside, it’s a fairly good application, but it doesn’t hold up to a couple of other options out there in terms of design, speed, privacy and security. Web browser tier list update. So I tried the Opera browser, and I’ll have to put it at a B-tier. It was fast, but it felt a bit clunky here and there, the adblocker didn’t really work well, and it needed more customization than others to work the way I wanted it to. The Pulse Browser is a minimalistic version of Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. Focused on hyper minimalism, no ads or telemetry. It’s lightweight, pretty fast and doesn’t use a lot of resources. Just like Librewolf it comes with Ublock Origin adblocker built-in. I’ll need to look closer into this fork.
