Early wake up, race was on to Strokkur Geyser at the crack of dawn as I hate people, and I hate missing that’s sweet spot of the sunrise. Got there at stupid o’clock sunrise, was very cloudy apart from this tiny little opening in the cloud and the sun can straight up into it, it was a photographers wet dream. It was my wet dream, just look at it! I had the drone up north knowing how long it would be which was 8 minutes between releases! Snapping on the 5D at the same time, keeping an eye out for those pesky wardens as your not supposed to drone here 🙄.Caught these amazing eruptions, and got a slapped bottom from a warden (who turned out to be such a nice guy, obviously he’s Icelandic! There wasn’t anyone there so no real issues.Apart from me lying through my teeth about not seeing the 1000 no drone signs 😂 I’m sorry warden. Oh well. Geysir : les geysers islandais
Geysir est un champ géothermique avec des geysers.
Un lieu incontournable si vous avez pour projet de venir en l’Islande. Il s’agit peut-être du site le plus visité du pays et une des curiosités naturelles préférées des touristes.
Au moment de jaillir, l’eau forme une grosse et belle bulle au dessus du trou avant d’exploser en un jet pouvant atteindre jusqu’à 30 mètres de haut.
Des fois, 2 jets se suivent, le second étant souvent de moindre intensité. Même si c’est assez variable, Strokkur jailli toutes les 5 à 8 minutes environ. Incroyable a voir en vrai !
Et en plus nous l’avons vu avec ce magnifique soleil en feu, il était autour de 13h45.
