With everything cleaned and prepped, now we paint the floor! We used Magnet Paints, Chassis Saver, Silver-Aluminum cover. This product was recommended on one of our favorite Skoolie builder YouTubers, Chuck Cassidy. Ordered 1 gallon off Amazon which was plenty! Took 2 days to dry completely since we are in the middle of winter. Just an fyi, no endorsements here. Just sharing what we’re learning along the way!

Florida has been a dream, minus the bugs obviously… 🤭 but boy oh boy is this state beautiful! I cannot believe a climate and ecosystem like here in Florida, exists in the United States! Took 33 years to get me here and for our second beach on the east coast, I can’t say I’m disappointed. It’s gorgeous, warm, sunny, and full of fun outdoor activities to keep the kids busy at all times.
Ryleigh saw her first snake in the wild, got stung by her first Man o’ war and although there was tears shed in both occasions there was also a bravery badge awarded because she’s experiencing her fears head on and we are so proud of her resilience with whatever her day throws at her.
The springs and animals (especially the birds) have been my favorite. They’re cool, beautiful, and the clearest water I’ve ever seen. The nature around here is unmatched along with its critters. Life has been good to us and I can’t complain! 💕

The bus floor getting a refresh! We used a DeWALT brushless 60v grinder for removing the rust. Definitely need eye & ear protection and a mask! It’s going to look so good with a coat of rustoleum paint!
