Since I started kayak guiding at Shell Key Preserve, I have been wanting to see a sea turtle and it finally happened a few weeks ago. As we were kayaking out of the mangrove tunnels, we saw two hatchling Loggerhead Sea Turtles (Caretta caretta) swimming along.
