Masa for Pupusas🇸🇻Ingredients➡️⬇️ 3 cup Maseca corn masa
2 1/2 cup warm water,
Salt to taste it’s not required, but you can add it, if you prefer.
Water and oil mixed together for shaping las pupusas.
start by adding the 2 cups water first, the other half 1/2 cup of water is in case the masa is still to dry.
Make sure you mix your masa and water well Massage the masa for about 5minutes, getting rid of any lamps your masa can have.
Your masa should feel like Play-Doh.
you know your masa is mixed well, once it stops sticking to your hands.
Let the masa rest for 5 minutes, and cover with wet paper towel.
you may want to rinse your hands too, so you don’t have any dry masa on your hands.
In a separate bowl, mix together the oil and water to start shaping las pupusas.
