Today we commemorates the sixth anniversary of sinking of MV Sewol. It also called the Sewol Ferry Disaster, occured on the morning of April 16, 2014. When the ferry was en route from Incheon towards Jeju in South Korea. 304 passengers and crew members died in the disaster, 174 survivors and 9 are still missing. Almost of the deaths are high school students on a field trip from Danwon High School. Before the incident, most the secondary students texted their parents and love ones to bid their last goodbye.The Tradegy, among South Korea's worst peacetime disasters, led to criminal convictions, the resignation of the country's prime minister and the death of billionaire religious leader who one owned the ferry. The families of the victims and survivors are still fighting and shouting for the justice to their love ones.
