What I thought was going to be another normal day at the gym turned completely around. At this gym there is only two squat racks. As a girl was occupying one, a single jacket (not a person) was at the second one. I waited patiently for the guy occupying the second rack to come back to ask how many sets he has left (when I got there he was using several machines as well this rack, leaving the rack open 10 minutes at a time). He replied with smart comments about me trying to squat so I just left it at that, and waited until the girl on the first rack let me have hers. The man on the second rack continued to watch me and my 16 year old sister in law workout (she was doing shoulders next to me). And then he tried grabbing weights from my rack and I told him I was about to use him-mind you he had more than enough weights at his rack. He then continued to call me a “bitch” several times. He told me to “go fuck myself”, “you dumb bitch”,“you fucking bitch”, “you piece of shit”. I went up to the front desk and pointed out the man that was harassing me and nothing was done about it. I called my husband who came to make sure I was okay (he also brought my brother in law). Mind you they never went up to the man that harassed me, they came to make sure I was okay and to try and talk to management for me. After my husband and brother in law left the man who harassed me called the police on them.

For the females that have experienced this before I am so sorry. Just know not all men are like this. Just the low life men.
