My current go-to plant based meat substitute. Its so versatile!
Directions:
1. Soak the walnuts in water overnight. This will help them soften
2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
3. Drain the walnuts and add the to a food processor along with the mushrooms, onions, garlic cloves, and sun-dried tomatoes. Transfer to an oiled skillet over medium heat. Add in the bouillon no-beef base, coconut aminos or soy sauce along with any additional seasonings you prefer.
4. Transfer to a large baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and serve
Flavor suggestions/Use recommendations:
Taco seasoning for tacos
Pasta sauce for a classic ground “beef” pasta or lasagna
BBQ Sauce for a bbq inspired bowl
Chili seasoning blend for homemade chili
Lettuce wraps
Vegan philly cheesesteak
