Some things to note: oily skin is typically dehydrated skin or unbalanced skin. Avoiding moistures all together can actually cause the skin to produce even more sebum and make your skin more oily. Finding a good oil controlling moisturizer is hard but when you find the perfect one, your life will be forever changed.
