✅نوّهت في بداية الفيديو أنّني أتفهّم تماماً حق الأهل في التشجيع على الدفاع عن النفس وخوفهم من عجز أطفالهم أمام الضّرب أو التّعنيف من الغير!
فمن الضّرورة أن يتعلّم الطفل/ة أساليب الدّفاع عن النّفس لوقف أي انتهاك أو عنف قد يتعرّض له.
في هذا الفيديو، اخترت ان اسلّط الضوء على كيفية توجيه الأطفال لحلّ النّزاعات، دون اللجوء الى أحد النّقيضين: إمّا أن "يكون الطفل خاضعاً وبالتّالي ضحيّة" أو ان يصبح عنيفًا و متنمرًا بنفسه!! في أي مساحة نكون ههنا؟
هل تعتقد أنّ مهارات حل النزاعات تتأرجح بين نقيضين — إما الأبيض أو الأسود، حيث يكون الطفل إما الضحية أو المستبد؟ قد يصل هذا الفيديو إلى مليون مشاهدة قريبا، ويعود ذلك أساسا إلى طرح هذا الموضوع الا وهو:
مهارات الوساطة وحل النزاعات لدى الأطفال. فمجتمعنا بحاجةٍ ماسةٍ الى تسليط الضّوء على هذا الموضوع وبالأخصّ في عالمنا العربي🌍❤️
✅ I had put a disclaimer at the beginning of the video saying I totally understand that parents wouldn’t want their child to sit and wait to be beaten!!! They should certainly learn self-defense to stop any violation or violence!
Now how they navigate conflict resolution is what I’m actually highlighting, without taking one of the two extremes of either “being too nice & therefore a victim” AND not the other end where a child becomes a violent oppressor themselves!! Where does this leave us??? In which space?
Do you think CONFLICT RESOLUTION skills remains a black or white area where a child is either a poor victim or an oppressor? This video may reach a million views soon, mainly because this conversation starter of moderation, mediation and conflict resolution skills for kids is a much needed topic in our region of the world 🌎 ❤️
