A couple of months ago I had the huge honour of getting picked out of the audience to sing with David Foster and his band at his concert with @Kat McPhee in New York.
A truly magical moment to sing for the man who wrote and produced the music that inspired me to become a singer. ✨
When I mentioned that I was a Celine Dion tribute, Katharine McPhee suggested I sing this song, and I knew I was way too nervous to do it justice in that moment. 😅 I instead sang “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman, another one of my favourite songs to perform live.
I never forgot that song request though, and didn’t want to let the opportunity pass me by, so here it is now!

I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song. I was in high school at the time and I heard @Idina Menzel belting out the ending of this epic number on a radio advertisement for this brand new Broadway show- @WICKED the Musical 💚.
Being a huge lover of “The Wizard of Oz” (my favourite song of all time is “Over the Rainbow”🌈), I was so excited to see this story about the wicked witch of the west come to life!
A couple of years later I got to see the show with my family and we were all instant fans. 🤩

The little mermaid was my favourite movie growing up, and when I started working for Disney it was my DREAM to be able to play Ariel.
That dream came true for me at 20 years old when I got to understudy Ariel in a Disney Cruise Line show. I got to go on for her several times and a video of one of my Ariel performances became my first viral video on YouTube with over 1 million views.
In 2011 I even got to meet the voice of Ariel, @Jodi Benson . She was so lovely and kind and it was one of the most magical days!
