Replying to @naimanganga0 Butter chicken Please substitute butter for whatever fat you like. I ran out of butter so I had no choice but to use vegetable oil. I have also used ghee in the past and it worked phenomenally! 🤤 Notes: 1. In a bowl, I added a cup of yogurt, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder, 1 tablespoon paprika, salt and 1 teaspoon turmeric powder. Added my blended ginger, garlic, green chili and oil. Marinate for as long as possible 2. Fry chicken in a pan using butter, or fat of your choice! 3. Do not overcrowd your pan! 4. Those burnt bits at the bottom are full of flavor! 5. Use same spices as in marinade after you fry your onions, bell pepper, and tomatoes. Also add a handful of cashews. Again, I didn’t have any 🌚💀 but tbh it still tasted fantastic without them. Plus, ketchup, 1 teaspoon sugar and salt. I learnt this from @vahchef on YouTube 14+ years ago! The sugar cuts down the acidity of the tomatoes. 6. Blend everything and add it back to the pan with the chicken and garnish with a tablespoon of butter (I didn’t have any!!) and some dry fenugreek leaves. This is a crowd favorite! A people pleaser!! I often make it with my homemade naan, but I was feeling lazy, so we accompanied with white rice.
