C 10 mirror finish process on sheet metal. We’ve gotten a lot of requests on the process and here is how we did it. We started sanding with an orbital sander to 800 grit with our Savage Brand ceramic sanding discs. , The first buffing stage was our red airway buffing wheel with Renegade Products yellow deluxe polishing compound at 6000 RPM; this allowed us to cut out the sanding disc lines. The next stage was an untreated airway buff (UBM); paired with Renegade Products competition purple polishing compound at 3000 RPM. The final buffing stage includes a domet flannel airway buff paired with our G 16 green chrome metal polishing rouge for the final buffing luster at 1800 RPM. finally, we used Renegade Products RZ Red sprayable liquid metal polish with an orbital polisher at low speed.
