Homemade Hibachi Chicken Dinner This is one of my families favorite meals! (And one of my most requested recipes) You can cook it a variety of ways: grill, stovetop, griddle! Be sure to ❤️ this recipe if you your family would love good too… and click the flag to save it for later.😉 Ingredients: (a drizzle= 1-2 TBSP- I don’t really measure😉) •rice, cooked per box directions (we use brown) •thin spaghetti noodles, cooked and drained •chicken (I like to use boneless thighs) •fresh veggies - we like onions, broccoli, yellow squash and zucchini (but you can add any of your families favorites) slice veggies •1 egg beaten (to add to rice) •teriyaki marinade •teriyaki sauce •soy sauce •yum yum sauce (we like Terry Ho’s brand) •olive oil to cook noodles and rice Directions: 1. Marinade the chicken in the teriyaki sauce about 30 minutes prior to cooking. 2. Precook the rice and noodles. 3. Preheat grill or griddle. 4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook on the grill or griddle until cooked completely through. 5. Place the sliced veggies on the griddle and season with a drizzle of soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Stir and cook until the veggies are tender. 6. For the noodles; I add about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to a large frying pan/griddle. Then place the pre-cooked and drained noodles in pan. Season with teriyaki sauce and soy sauce. Cook, keeping the noodles moving for about for 3-5 minutes- you just want to mix in the sauce flavors and give the noodles a little “fry”. 7. For the rice: add the precooked rice to a frying pan (or griddle) with 1-2 Tbsp olive oil. Add a drizzle of soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Stir to combine. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, during the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, I make a little well in the center of the rice and I add one beaten to the “well” area, cook, then mix in with rice. 8. Place cooked chicken, rice, noodles and veggies on a plate and serve with yum yum sauce. 9.
